Marie Reysset (France) is the Director of Consulting Services at UPM Umwelt-Projekt-Management GmbH (UPM) and the General Manager of UPM’s subsidiary in China. With extensive experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and marketing communications, she specializes in sustainability with a focus on environmental protection, renewable energy, sanitation, waste management, and climate mitigation. Since 2016, she has been involved in numerous UPM consulting assignments related to sanitation and waste-to-value, including technical assistance, capacity building, and knowledge-sharing projects across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Her expertise also includes comprehensive knowledge of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's RT/OP portfolio. Prior to her shift to development and sustainability, Marie held marketing and communications roles within PR agencies and multinational corporations in Asia. She is fluent in French, English, and Chinese.
